Crashes, emotions… and an open battle!
The second day of the Trèfle Lozérien AMV delivered on all its promises in Aubrac: 230 technical kilometers, demanding special stages, and an international field ready to battle. Josep Garcia still leads, but the fight for the podium is now wide open.

Debaud: the star of the day
The image of the day belongs to the beaming smile of Valerian Debaud. At 29, the French rider had the best day of his career at the Trèfle, winning 3 specials (1, 3, and 4). An amateur rider, supported by his parents as mechanics, Debaud climbs to second overall, with a 14-second gap over third place.
Garcia still leads… despite crashes
At the front, Josep Garcia had a difficult day: 4 crashes in the first 3 specials shook his confidence. However, the Catalan managed to bounce back by winning the last special of the day. He now holds a comfortable 23-second lead over Debaud in the overall standings.

Podium battle heating up
Behind Garcia and Debaud, the battle for third place is fierce:
- Hugo Blanjoue, impressive, climbed from 7th to 3rd place, scoring 4 podium finishes in specials.
- Jérémy Tarroux, struggling, dropped to 4th place after an up-and-down day (crash in Special 3).
- Julien Roussaly, in top form, sits 5th, less than 2 seconds from the podium.
Other highlights of the day
- Killian Lunier, 6th, remains in contention despite a lack of commitment.
- Théo Espinasse, 7th, lost one place after a crash.
- Jérémy Miroir, 8th, impressed with a strong comeback (+4 places) on grassy terrain.
- Mathis Julliard, cautious yet effective, breaks into the top 10.
- Julien Gauthier, 10th, remains competitive despite a fall.
Setback for Léo Le Quéré: a mechanical failure in Special 3 cost him over 3 minutes, dropping him out of the top 10.

Looking ahead to the grand finale
The 39th edition of the Trèfle Lozérien AMV will conclude tomorrow in Margeride: 194 km, with riders starting in reverse order, and challenging specials including a feared third special stage run as a line race, certain to create gaps.
The suspense is high:
Can Garcia hold onto his lead?
Will Debaud confirm his brilliant performance?
Who will claim the podium in the thrilling fight between Blanjoue, Tarroux, and Roussaly?
Final answers tomorrow.
