All about the next edition
More than a race, a gathering of riders, professionals, and international competitors
In 2018 and 2019, the Trèfle Lozérien AMV was part of the WESS (World Enduro Super Series), a series of eight international races featuring popular events that represent modern enduro (extreme races, classic enduro, cross country, and sand races). The Trèfle Lozérien AMV was the only French event in the WESS.
Since its inception, the Trèfle Lozérien AMV has attracted iconic figures from the world of enduro and motorsports. Among the most famous are Stéphane Peterhansel, multiple Dakar winner; David Frétigné, a legend in enduro and rally; and Christophe Nambotin, who has made his mark on the event with several victories. These riders have contributed to the legend of the Trèfle Lozérien AMV, bringing their experience and talent to this demanding competition. Antoine Méo, Pierre Alexandre Renet, and Cyril Esquirol round out a list of champions who have shaped the event, giving it a unique dimension where amateurs and professionals share the same passion over diverse and spectacular terrain. Spanish rider Josep Garcia, crowned world champion in 2024, adds to the event’s legacy with three victories to his name.
The event quickly gained success and inspired other races, including the Grappe de Cyrano, the Aveyronnaise Classic, and the Val de Lorraine Classic. Today, the race hosts 600 participants from across Europe, with registrations—traditionally opened at 11 p.m. on an evening in January or February—filling up in less than four minutes.
