The Trèfle Lozérien AMV Awakens: Time for Administrative and Technical Checks
The 39th edition of the Trèfle Lozérien AMV officially kicked off this Thursday in Mende with the traditional day of administrative and technical checks. A much-anticipated moment when the paddocks come alive and tension gives way to the first exchanges between riders, mechanics, volunteers, and the many passionate spectators in attendance.
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, all 600 entrants passed through the tents to validate their participation. Registration documents, equipment, transponders, GPS trackers — everything was checked down to the last detail: discipline before effort, order before the chaos of the timed specials.
Spotlight on the Riders: Eyes on the Elite… and the Locals
Global enduro stars, iconic figures of the French scene, rising young talents, and loyal anonymous riders — all were warmlywelcomed by an already enthusiastic public. On the sporting front, keep an eye on Spanish rider Josep Garcia, winner in 2024 and current World Championship leader. Jérémy Tarroux, who finished 3rd last year, and Valerian Debaud, 4th in 2024, are also seriouscontenders.
In the women’s category, the competition promises to be intense. Local icon and two-time title holder Lorna Laffont will proudlyrepresent Lozère. But this year, British rider Rosie Rowett, an international benchmark in enduro, brings a thrilling new level of suspense. The duel promises to be captivating from the very first special stage.

A key innovation this year: all riders will be equipped with GPS trackers thanks to our partner OWAKA. This added safety measureensures real-time location tracking and rapid intervention if needed.
