Trefle Lozérien AMV from June 4 to 6, 2021

We are pleased to announce that the 35è Trèfle Lozérien AMV will take place on June 4, 5 and 6, 2021.

After 2 years spent in WESS (World Enduro Super Series), we are forced to leave the series of 8 international races of which we were the only one in France for reasons of availability of the Events Space where we install the PC Course, the volunteer area and the Media team, opposite the paddock, place du foirail.

Like every year, we had to wait for the publication of the calendars of the French championship, world championship, and other races to define the date, but as of March, we were asked to vote at the local level. Faced with our impossibility of defining the date, we were told that the only availability of the Event Space during the usual Clover period would be from June 4 to 6. The date was therefore imposed on us without being able to take into account national and international championships and other enduro races, as we used to and the duty to do to ensure consistency of the different calendars.

Consequently, we find ourselves in date competition with another WESS event which has priority and we are therefore forced to leave the series with regret. Another consequence, we will no longer be able to benefit from the global media coverage of Red Bull TV, we will have to finance the image production ourselves and find a media for broadcasting, as we did in the past (3 videos summarized from each day and a 26-minute video). We planned to do the paddock and the race PC on the causse d’Auge, as we had done twice, or in another town in the department, but we preferred to stay in downtown Mende out of respect for the local economic fabric, in particular the hotels and restaurants which have already suffered financially from COVID and the cancellation of the event in 2020.

The experience of WESS will have been extremely enriching for our entire team and will have enabled us to have for 2 years an exceptional set of pilots and media exposure on Red Bull TV and in international magazines including the city of Mende, the department of Lozère, the Occitanie Region and all of our partners could have benefited. We thank the promoters of WESS, Winfied Kershhaggl and Philipp Stossier for the trust they have placed in us during these 2 beautiful years spent together.

Thanks also to Jean Luc Miroir, the promoter of the French enduro championship, for having taken our constraints into account when defining his calendar.

We therefore give you an appointment from June 4 to 6, 2021, to celebrate together the return of the Lozerian Clover AMV after an off year and the 35th edition.
